Before filling in the application form for 'Free School Meals' you MUST give consent to the following agreement.
I agree that the Council will use the information I provide to process my claim for free school meals and will contact other sources as allowed by law to verify my initial, and ongoing, entitlement.
I agree that the Council can inform the school(s) attended by my child(ren) of their initial and ongoing entitlement to free school meals.
I confirm that I have read Council's 'Data Protection Policy' and have understood what information is retained, its uses, sharing, limitations, controls and safeguards set in place so as to prevent any abuse of personal data involved.
For further information regarding data security, please refer to data use requirements stipulated in legislation (Section 110 of the Education Act 2005).
